This fire restoration project originated from a fire in the kitchen of this two-story, single-family home and spread to most of the structure, including the finished basement. While the damage was extensive throughout, it did not harm any structural components. We worked closely with the claims adjuster to quickly agree on the scope of repairs and the cost of repairs. Repairs included a full demolition of the interior of the home down to the framing. Since this was a rental property, there were no personal belongings to clean and store and the project took about 6 months to complete. This was an older home and as such, it presented us with issues bringing certain reconstruction items up to current building code standards. This is a common challenge with older homes. The photographs here show the damages during our initial assessment as well as the beautiful transformation into what is essentially a brand new home.
