Kitchen fire with major fire damage to the kitchen and immediate surroundings and major smoke damage throughout the entire home. The inside of the home was completely demoed down to the stud walls and we remediated mold which developed due to water from firefighting efforts. We worked closely with the adjuster to agree on the scope of repairs as quickly as possible as the homeowner was displaced during the entire process which was about 7 months from the day of the fire to the homeowners moving back in. Most of the project was confined to the interior of the home and repairs were vast. We rewired nearly the entire home, replaced the furnace and all the flexible ductwork, but we were able to clean most of the hard ductwork. All new drywall, paint, appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, tile, and carpeting were installed. The photographs of the finished project show the home transformed into essentially a wonderful new home with all modern appliances and finishes.
